S-Communicator: School Communication Software

The aim of this system is to establish an integrated platform to allow the parents, teachers, managers, or maybe government officers communicate and cooperate more efficiently in the following aspects.

• Safety of the students. RFID card (Mifare card) and short message to mobile phone are used to keep parents informed about their kids entering or leaving school. Moreover, absence record is tracked online by both the teachers and the parents.
• Performance of the students. Marks and records information inputted by the teachers can be viewed by the parents on Internet.
• Cooperation. The communication process between parents and teachers are accelerated and by the announcement and messages through web or Short Message System (SMS), instead of the traditional ways.
• Management. Mangers of schools or officers of education department of government, if necessary to be enrolled in, can view the situation of the students online, or get messages from school affairs. They are able, if they want, to send messages through web or SMS to provide support to the schools or teachers.
